The new owners of the Orlando Predators are working to return their team and Arena Football to a mainstream sport in Central Florida
Orlando, FL 12/18/19: The Orlando Predators Arena Football Team is taking the jungle by storm in 2020! New owners, Nathan Starling and the Tridico Family are breathing life into the Predators tradition of winning championships. Along with the change in ownership, the Preds are adding Arena Football Legend Ben Bennett as the team’s head coach and making our home the Amway Arena a formidable place to play for visiting football teams.
“The addition of Ben Bennett as the Head Coach of the Orlando Predators is a huge win for the team and the fans.” said a member of the Tridico Family. “Ben has a legendary football career spanning NFL teams like the Dallas Cowboys, Cincinnati Bengals and the Chicago Bears. He had an incredible record in the Arena Football League as well. He had played and coached on several teams, including serving as the offensive coordinator for the Orlando Predators. Ben has won Arena Football Championships and is ready to do it again in Orlando.”
With new ownership now in place the Orlando Predators are working hard to bring back the winning spirit of the storied Franchise. The first step in making that happen is groundbreaking not only for Arena Football but for all professional sports. On October 14, 2019, the Orlando Predators named Ms. Dionna Hurt General Manager of the Arena Football team. She joins Miami Dolphins’ Chris Grier as one of two current African American General Managers in professional Football and the only woman. The Orlando Predators now join the National Football League’s Baltimore Ravens with the historic hiring of Ms. Hurt.
